The Safest Way to Transports Your ATVs/UTVs - Mesa, AZ

The days of folding up the front wheel of your ATV and stuffing into the trunk of a station wagon are long gone. ATVs are getting bigger and better each year, and there are a number of four-seater UTVs which are even bigger than some pickup trucks, like the Polaris® RZR XP 4 1000!

Some people like large UTVs but others do not. The point of an UTV or certainly an ATV is to ride something smaller, quicker, and so on. You want something that can go where a normal vehicle cannot go. If your UTV is that large, you may as well just be in an SUV. But some people prefer large UTVs since they can do things in them they would not feel comfortable doing in their SUV and the UTV, most of them, compared to most SUVs, is most likely tougher than the SUV.

If you're riding an ATV, the back of a pickup truck might still be your best option as long as you have proper ramps and a suitable tie-down system.

But if you're hauling more than one ATV then you're going to need a trailer. There are many different ramps and tie-downs available but there is many trailers to choose from as well. We found a few of the best ones out there. They are as follows:

  • ATV Trailer

    Triton Heavy-Duty Series Car Hauler

If you need to haul multiple ATVs at the same time, then your best bet would be to get a Triton car hauler. They are available with as much as 22 ft of deck, and all come standard with rear beaver-tail decks as well as heavy-duty bi-fold ramps and welded support legs. You can have more than one UTV on this size of a trailer and multiple ATVs and so on.

  • Aluma Cargo Trailer

    Aluma Trailers

This company is well-known because it specializes in maintenance-free, durable, all-aluminum, lightweight trailers. You can find anything from 8.5 ft long trailers to 24 ft long trailers with them. Some of their largest trailers are even able to carry RZRs (Razors) or side by sides or UTVs.

  • Rizerback

    Rizerback

This rack will let you transport your ATV safely in your truck bed while also saving as much as 50 percent of the space for other storage. It has a simple design which allows you to store things like gas cans, gear bags, and just about anything else you would otherwise have trouble finding space for.

As a bonus, it also protects your back window from getting damaged by the bumper or winch of the ATV if you have to break real hard or if you hit a large bump while transporting your ATV.

  • MSR Ratchet and Pull Tie-Down

    MSR Ratchet and Pull Tie-Down

This is the trailer which helped settle the age-old argument of which option is better: ratcheting or pull cam. MSR's tie-downs have pull cams for ease as well as ratchets for security. They are one in the same. Both ideas in one product. They also come with 1.5 inches of webbing and stellar labeling from MSR which will help you identify it with the greatest of ease.

  • Triton Enclosed Trailers

    Triton Enclosed Trailers

These trailers come in multiple sizes and are loaded with numerous high-end features. You can buy a ladder so you can load your UTV or ATV from the side. That is some clever thinking! They use a one piece aluminum roof and four-cord rubber-torsion axles, which offers the smoothest and some awesome experience while towing. You can even get some as long as 18 feet. Now isn't that something.

  • Kendon Folding Utility Trailers

    Kendon Folding Utility Trailers

These utility trailers are the most versatile workhorses you're going to find in Kendon's lineup. They have a folding trailer which has a 6/8 foot platform bed and a load rating of 2,000 pounds. There are unlimited options for tie-downs and a couple of loading ramps included with the trailers. You can simply fold up the trailer and roll it into your garage. Wow! It measures just 98 inches high and 27 inches deep which makes it easy to store.
